Sorry for the delay in answer ... I hope you see this response!

As far as adding that status to our items, there are a few reasons why we don't:

There are just FAR TOO MANY ITEMS ON OUR SITE (if you include all of the shoes, etc; we're talking somewhere around 100,000) and the VAST MAJORITY are in-stock. If a particular item or size/variation isn't, we do an inventory order every two weeks. Now, if the manufacturer takes a bit longer to get the product to us, we can't control that. However, our orders are almost always timely because, due to the amount of business that we do, our suppliers try and make sure that we and our customers are happy.

If there is a particular item that you absolutely need on a particular date and "vast majority" won't cut it (last-minute event, etc), you can email me, personally at <!-- e --><a href="mailto:mike@janetscloset.com">mike@janetscloset.com</a><!-- e --> and I'll see what I can find out for you.

***Please do not overuse this option, people. It's ONLY for situations like I explained. If we get everyone asking about every item (98% of which are in stock at any given time), NO ONE will get answered. We try and pride ourselves on timely answers, customer service, low prices, providing information and selection!
