I am very new to all of this and seeking friend(s) to share this experience with. This has been lifelong desire that I have suffocated for nearly 50 years. I am now ready to explore, learn, and share with others of like mind and desires.

I need so much help and guidance and that is why I subscribed to this forum. I don't even know where to start or how to start. I am truly determined and excited to start this journey and any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

I wish I had seen your post before going to Michigan last month, jimmmysue. I'm in a very similar situation being older, although I'm divorced, not married. if you haven't already, I'd suggest being honest with your wife about your feelings and desires. She could be your greatest advocate, much like how our moderator Amy's wife supports her in her journey. Congratulations on embracing who you are, and good luck on your adventure.

Sadly it took me the vast majority of my life to come to grips with this, to accept myself, then to find a way to blossom out of my shell.
